About Me

My desire to help people suffering from emotional difficulties started many years ago when I began working in the voluntary sector as a listener for The Samaritans. This work ultimately led me to do a Post-Graduate Diploma in Counselling and Psychotherapy at the University of East Anglia.

Since finishing my diploma I have practiced as a Counsellor, working as part of the Counselling Service at the University of East Anglia and working for NORCAS, an East Anglia based charity that helps people overcome addictive behaviours.

I have a particular interest in Eating Disorders and therefore have continued my study by training at the National Centre for Eating disorders with Dianne Jade, a well- known expert in the treatment of Anorexia, Bulimia, Binge Eating and Obesity. I am now able to use the latest research and techniques to help people with those particular problems.
